HAMSWELL HOUSE

STYLED SHOOT
ENCHANTED FAIRYTALE

This beautiful Enchanted Fairytale inspired shoot was set in the stunning house and grounds of Hamswell House. Historic Hamswell House is surrounded by 50 acres of gardens and private land with breathtaking panoramic views. You can hold your ceremony inside the romantic 18th century Orangery with its Cotswold stone roof and huge arched windows. The Orangery can seat 40 people making it perfect for the smaller, more intimate wedding.

The dusty blue and gold combination of this styled shoot was simply stunning. The inspiration was created by the very talented Wedding Planner, Lucy, from Lucy Ann Reid Events who's attention to detail was second to none.

How beautiful are these flowers from Daisy Lane Floral Designs?! The floral gateway was perfect for the backdrop in the Orangery. Filled with Hydrangea, Delphiniums, Roses, Larkspur and a selection of foliage. The fragrance was just devine.

The shoot really did capture an Enchanted Fairytale wedding.

I was delighted to be asked to a part of this magical fairytale Wedding. The colour palette of dusty blue and gold with white and green foliage worked beautifully together. The wedding cake was a 2 tier contemporary design. The bottom tier was a dusty blue marble effect. The top tier was a white fondant finish with with a touch of edible gold leaf sweeping down both tiers to give it a touch of elegance. Finished with a selection of fresh flowers.

The cake was nestled in the most exquisite cove and framed by the stunning floral gateway. I chose the Mosser White Glass cakestand to elevate the cake to create a greater focal point. This cake would work perfectly for a more intimate wedding celebration.

The colour combinations on the mood board that Lucy created enabled me to perfectly match the colours of the cake with the other elements of the shoot.

This magical fairytale dress by Trousseuax Bridal was absolutely beautiful and truly captured the enchanted theme of this styled shoot. To complement the dress the bride wore a Rialta Crown which is fit for any princess style look. The dusty blue reflected beautifully on the sparkles.

No words......How stunning are these Amy Blue Blossom shoes by Harriet Wilde Shoes? Each pair are hand embellished in London especially for you.

To complete the look the bride was treated to a soft, romantic hairstyle with a natural look finish to her make-up by the talented Storme from Storme Make-up and Hair.

The tablescape was complemented by a beautiful layered place setting. Clear chargers edged in gold with white textured plates on top layered with a menu and place to finish the look.

This truly was a fairytale wedding styled shoot. Thank you to Lucy for organising this magical day.
